A self-taught painter from an early age, Yakout Yamani developed her artistic language between Morocco and France, exploring academic drawing, watercolor, and oil painting.

Her work reflects on the contradictions of contemporary Morocco and the complexity of the female condition.Inspired by orientalist influences, she offers a more intimate and nuanced vision, where tradition and modernity exist in subtle tension.
